INTERN
ABOUT THE POSITION
Chromaviso is continuously seeking UX design interns for our R&D department. You will become part of a dynamic software team, where we work across different areas of expertise, and where we are all passionate about what we do and making a difference with our solutions.
As our new UX intern, your focus will lie at the intersection of UX and our technical team (software and hardware). Depending on your interests, you will have the opportunity to work on our lighting and control solutions or the development of our web-based digitalization projects.
We envision that you will spend most of your time with us supporting UX, software, and hardware colleagues by advocating for the needs of our users.
TASKS
- Basic user research such as contextual design / contextual inquiry.
- Prototype, mockup, and UI design for our control solutions and internal digitization projects.
- User testing (qualitative/think aloud/A/B tests) of prototypes, user interfaces, and applications.
- Data analysis, documentation, condensing, and dissemination of results from investigations and tests.
- Development tasks - hardware-oriented software development - on our operating systems and digitalization projects. (Possible programming languages: CSS, Lua, PHP [Laravel], JavaScript [Vue.js, Node.js])

As an intern at Chromaviso, you will be paired with a mentor who will make sure your internship experience is both rewarding and intriguing. You will gain a deep understanding of Chromaviso and how we utilize user-centered research as the foundation for developing future products.
WHO YOU ARE
YOUR COMPETENCIES
- Experience with user research and user involvement
- Practical experience with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Adobe XD, or Figma
- Practical experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, CSS, PHP, Lua, C, C++, or similar)
- Reliability and the ability to deliver on your commitments in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
- Strong collaboration skills
- Fluent English and Danish in both written and spoken communication
