Ergonomic Lighting Revolutionizes Diagnostic Imaging Departments

It all began at the Skejby's Diagnostic Imaging department - and now the idea of using Ergonomic Lighting for intervention and X-ray examinations has spread to Aalborg, Viborg, Odense University Hospital, Rigshospitalet, and Roskilde Hospital.

Dr. Sten Langfelt from Skejby's Diagnostic Imaging department was the pioneer in using Ergonomic Lighting in the X-ray room and reading room. He emphasized that Ergonomic Lighting not only reduces screen glare and enhances contrast on the screen, but also minimizes eye strain.

The results achieved with Ergonomic Lighting in the Diagnostic Imaging department were so impressive that other similar departments across the country quickly followed suit. The Radiology department at Aalborg Hospital has implemented Ergonomic Lighting in the Angio room and reading room, as has Viborg. The Radiology department at Odense University Hospital has a room equipped with Ergonomic Lighting. The Abdominal Center at Rigshospitalet has Ergonomic Lighting in two rooms, and the Ultrasound Scanning department at the Maternity Ward in Roskilde has also incorporated Ergonomic Lighting in two rooms.
